Commercial Greenhouse Installation Experience

In recent years, the whole country has involved in a great mass fervor on building greenhouses. Here are some suggestions by experienced greenhouse technicians.
First, the space of two greenhouse blocks is too narrow. Some farmers wanted to save more land to build a greenhouse; they usually leave a narrow space for the greenhouses. The space is even only 2 meters, which create a hidden danger. Primarily, in the winter, the front greenhouse will shade the behind part, which is not good for vegetable growing. Next, it is very bad for the drainage of flooded fields. It will cause massive snow before the greenhouse when it is snowing. Therefore, the experts suggest that the accurate space for the greenhouses is 4 meters to 5 meters, which not only can avoid shading each one, and also can prevent the wind.
Second, the greenhouse needs one system of drainage of flooded fields when the rainy season comes. Most farmers do not consider that how to solve the problems of the drainage of flooded fields, not mention the preventive measures. So in the summer, it is easy to cause the rain flooding the greenhouse gate and even the greenhouse could be damaged by the storm rain. The exact method is that dig a drainage ditch which length is same as the greenhouse length, width is about half meter, and depth is 30cm. It can let the water flow away anytime and avoid flooding the greenhouse vegetables.
Third, the greenhouse rear slope wall is lack of prevention methods. Some greenhouse growers do not set shading equipment for the greenhouse rear wall. So that part usually is washed by the rain in the summer, which reduces the using time of the greenhouse. Some growers cover a plastic film on the rear part; but withstand the sunburn and windburn day after day; the film is damaged just near one year. Technicians suggest that the rear part of greenhouse should be covered by the plastic film and a layer of non-woven fabrics, and be set by the steel rope each 10 meters. Then the protective method can assure the greenhouse could have 5 years using life.
Forth, the space of clips is too large of last two rows. In the greenhouse last two row clips will burden the most pressure, and the clips usually get distorted. The best way is to narrow the distance which is better 80cm. In the middle of the distance can only leave a walking space.
