Maintenance of Drip Irrigation System II

Maintenance at the end of irrigation season:
The whole system must be cleaned by high pressure according to the wheel irrigation group, opening each branch and competent and opening the pump to clean all the parts one by one.
After cleaning the filter system by high pressure, clean the filter totally, then drain away water.
If your filter is with sand separator fold type, put each laminated group clean, and then use dry cloth to clean plastic shell in sealing ring. Then open sand chamber side of the plug to discharge water off. Put the button under the filter pressure gauge to exhaust position.
Some filters are medium filter. First open the filter tank roof to check the number of sand filter material. Make a label on the tank to make comparison easily. If the sand filter material has suspended matter, you should take it out. Meanwhile, you should put one bag chloride ball into every tank for thirty minutes. Then recoil it 120 seconds for twice. Then discharge out all the water by opening the filter tank roof and bottom drain valve. Then put the choice button under the filter pressure gauge to exhaust position.
