Cooling-Heating Process for Vegetable Seeds
The vegetable seed which was processed by the cooling-heating will produce the cold resistant young plant. The plants were stronger and can increase output by 10%. It is a practical technology for vegetables growing by breaking the season limitation, and adapts to the market demand to improve economic benefit.The method for vegetable cooling-heating is that put the seed under the temperature of 1 degree or 5 degree less than zero for 12 hours to 18 hours. Then increase the temperature by cooling water slowly. And then put it on the temperature condition of 18 degree to 22 degree for 6 hours to 12 hours. The common seeds of gourd and vegetable-melon crop should be processed over and over again for 3 days to 5 days. And other type’s vegetables should be processed for 5 days to 7 days. Then it will be best time to sow the seeds.
One other thing to note is that seeds should be keep moisture when doing cooling-heating process; and changing temperature process should be slow to improve the sprout rate and survival rate.
